Why are you seeing those blue (or other odd color) blocks around certain words? Basically because I'm a novice at this web design stuff! I've chosen to use a certain kind of file to display my text logo and a couple of key words that allows them to appear to float on the page. Unfortunately, older versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer (your browser) don't support those otherwise perfectly lovely files. If you have IE 7.0 or a newer version, you are probably seeing the text as I do. But some 30% of viewers will get an opaque block of color instead of a transparent background. You can read about and perhaps choose to update your version of the browser - it's free in most cases. Here is a link to a Microsoft help page for downloading both IE 7.0 and IE 8.0. We have been using IE 8 successfully for several months now with both Windows Vista and Windows 7 after a rocky start. Gotta keep up with all the updates while they work the kinks out! Who knows what else you might be missing! P. S. I really don't own Microsoft stock or anything - I just like my floating logos |
