Bears & Bunnies & Piggles
Oh My...

Thanks for your support!

2025 has been a crazy year for the Raspbearies. We had to miss the 2025 Philly show because my husband and chief bin-schlepper (Pat) unexpectedly needed some heart surgery. We will also miss the TBAI show in Binghamton as he continues his recovery. Meanwhile, there were a few bears in the online show that did not find new homes. Perhaps they might tickle your fancy here! I have also sprinkled in a few new guys. Your support is keeping me going. Thankfully, my muse still visits to whisper all those silly bear and critter ideas into my ear. Hope she hangs with me for a while longer!

Note: I am now including shipping and insurance in the prices you see here. Much simpler for us both!

And if you encounter any problems with the PayPal buttons or have any questions about the bears, bunnies or piggles, please email me at:

vicki@raspbearies.net

And, lastly, I left a few of the more recently adopted critters at the bottom of the page. Most of them can be specially ordered if I still have the materials available. Please let me know if you are interested.

Dan Dan

In 1985. scientists discovered a brown and white female panda in very poor health in China's Qinling Mountains of the Shaanxi Province. Named Dan Dan for her color, she was taken to a reserve and restored to health, even giving birth to a black and white panda son. Since then, scientists have finally discovered a very rare gene that causes the brown fur mutation. To date, only 7 cases of the brown pandas have been documented in that same mountainous region. It is believed that the pandas with the mutation are born black and white, but the black fades to brown as they age. A very rare panda, indeed.
My homage to Dan Dan for her contribution to scientific knowledge is 13" tall and made of very soft alpaca. She is loosely jointed and filled with polyester, plastic pellets and some steel shot. She has Ultrasuede paws and eyelids with glass eyes.
Thank you, Dan Dan.

The Crayonbearies Gallery

One of the Raspbearies' signature bears, the Crayonbearies are hand-dyed to match favorite crayon colors - or decor or fabric swatch or ribbon or whatever you can give me to match! And these fellows just snuggle right into the palm of your hand. (It's the steel shot and pellets). Many of my collectors like to group seasonal colors. I will sometimes offer 'Special Editions" of the Crayonbearies which can be multicolored. See the 'Archive' page for examples and check this space. The "Special Editions" are usually a bit more expensive.

Unless otherwise noted, they are 8" tall, made of mohair dyed in old lobster pots on my stove (really!) and they have glass eyes in their sweet faces. They are loosely jointed and filled with polyester, pellets & steel shot. If the bears are dyed crayon colors, they come with their own matching crayons.

Each of the Crayonbearies is

even custom dyed colors if you wish one!
